Gotta love lincoln logs!

Jake and his friends did their annual bike ride to the top of the mountain and sleepover thing! Quite the view!


With autumn brings the Petersen's annual hay ride around Farr West ;)

Tayli loved soccer this year! She always had a lot of support from her family and was always so anxious to get in there and play!


My #6 Allstar player did such an awesome job and scored at all her games she played:) I sound like such a bragging soccer mom:)



Tayli celebrated her 5th birthday this September! We had a super fun friends birthday for her and then had a party with all her family. I love birthday time:)

Thanks Kyrsten for coming and making such fun balloon animals for all the kids!









Tayli also started preschool again. She loves school so much and is already reading lots of words and adding numbers together.

Kim's Homecoming!

My sister, Kim, came to meet the rest of her family back in Sept. We had such a great time together! I was so happy she came. We got to have a sleepover at my house and have some good sister chat's that we never were able to have growing up. We had a big family party with my mom's side of the family and my dad's side of the family. It was a great family reunion I thought would never come:)WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, KIM!

When Jake and I went to Fiji 3 years ago, we bought a little boy's church outfit with the sulu and all. Luckily we had this darling little boy a couple years later and now he is able to sport it with his dad:)

LAKE POWELL

We took a Petersen Family trip to Lake Powell in August...The cousins loved tubing together...until they hit a wave and bumped heads :(

Jake loved surfing behind the boat...

Tayli got up on the knee board for her first time ever and just loved it!




We hiked up to see Rainbow Bridge :) What a fun trip!

A Quick Update!

We celebrated Jake's 28th birthday back in August. He chose to go to dinner at Tepanyaki and then wanted to take the kids horse back riding with his dad. We had a great time!

Ogden Marathon

I truly enjoyed running the Ogden Relay with my sisters. I may have found a new love for running??

MY BIRTHDAY

I was more than spoiled for my birthday this year! This is our family get together...


THIS IS MY SURPRISE PARTY! Between my most thoughtful husband and awesome friends, they had me totally surprised. They all planned it together and it turned out to be more than I could have asked for.

Kyr brought a human elastic game that was quite entertaining. The guys didn't like it at all...BOING!!
