WELSVILLE WATERSLIDE!

The whole Petersen family went up to the Welsville Waterslide and had another fun day in the sun. This place is so much fun! This is also the type of place that reminds you not to "judge a book by its cover." This slide is a huge home made slip-n-slide that has about a 25 foot drop and goes about another 30 feet right into a corn field. We all had so much fun, sliding, eating, and swining on an INSANE rope swing (pictures to come).

One of our favorite summertime family activities...Boating! We all love the sun and being in the water.

Tayli has become fearless! She loves surfing with dad. She's coming up with all kinds of new moves on the surf board. What a show off!

4th of July!

July 4th is one of our favorite holidays! I love this picture of Tayli, the fireworks, and beautiful sunset in the background.

Sparklers are the best!

The whole family crew gathers together for the neighborhood lighting of fireworks.

Nothing like a 4th of July breakfast to get you day going!

Dad has always been in charge of the breakfast being Young Men's Pres. and all.

And there they go, with Brad the flag dad making sure they don't run anyone over. I was given a glimpse of what it'll be like when Tayli is 16...YIKES!

Allergy Testing

So I wasn't sure if this was "Blog Appropriate," but I had to let you see how tough I really am. I get the worst allergies ever, so I finally decided to get to the bottom of it. This is what you get to go through! They poked my back with 40 needles filled with different things I could possibly be allergic to. Clearly allergic to many things...

Then they gave me 46 MORE shots in the arm to finish off the test. Every single one of those needles went into one arm! Notice how there's not a picture of my face. I wasn't hiding the pain too well.

So 86 shots later I found out that I'm allergic to almost everything in the summer time except for horses. That doesn't mean I could go for a ride on a horse because I'm allergic to all the different kinds of grasses they live in!

Night Out

The Fillpots and the Petersens got together for a night at the Junction. We had a wild dinner at Iggy's and watched the Brad and Jake do the Flow Rider.

The kids were cheering on their dad's. Look at the intensity on Tayli's face. That's a true cheerleader :)

Go Daddy Go!


The kids had to check out the arcade too. Nice choice of game girls.

Family Reunion

The Adams side of my family got together and had a family reunion. Why we didn't get a big family picture...I don't know??


It was sure good to see my dad again :)
