FAMILY TRIP TO ST. GEORGE :)

Our littl fam packed up and went to St. George over Memorial weekend. It was a simple trip, yet one of the funnest ones we've had with the kids. Sarah goes to school down there, so it was fun hanging out with her too! We climbed all over Dixie rock, hung out at the town "splash pad," spent a day at the Acquatic center, watched lots of movies in the big movie room, had a yummy BBQ after church on Sunday, drove through Snow Canyon, and Jake and I even got to go on a date and leave the kids with Sarah on Saturday night...thanks Sarah!

I loved spending every moment with Jake and the kids. The house didn't get cell phone service and that was the best part! Just quality time with the family :)

P.S. Tayli wasn't too sure about being up so high on Dixie Rock...can you see it in her face?

A bunch of my neighbor friends got together and made pillowcase dresses. I'm pretty proud of the one Tayli is wearing because I made this one and I'm not exactly Martha Stewart.

She gets pretty camera shy when I need to take her picture, as you can tell :)

Girls Night to Get Together!



We started a girls night out for each month and the this month was at Shauna's house. We had a night full of "favorites." Each of us brought a favorite recipe and the actual treat to eat. Then we brought a favorite item wrapped up and played a fun with them. It's crazy when we get together how we seem to act like we're 16 all over again. Gotta keep life fun and crazy :) We missed those of you who couldn't make it. But we'll see you in June :)

A Blessed Day

This was one of the best days of my life. The baptism of my mom and step dad. Jake had the opprotunity of baptizing them. This was almost as spiritual as my own baptism and conversion. I love them both so much.

OUR TRIP OF A LIFETIME***FIJI***

This was a trip I will never forget. The Fijian People are amazing. Their way of life is so simple and yet they are the most happy people I have ever come in contact with. We could all learn so much from them.

It's amazing how the people of Fiji live. They are very talented and always happy.

I bet you can't guess what they are digging up? Yep, our dinner. That is how they cook most of their food in Fiji. They wrap the food in banana leaves and bury them in the ground and let hot coals cook the food. These are called lovo's.

Words couldn't describe how beautiful it was here.

This was our trip of a life time! We were so blessed to have the opportunity to travel back to Jake's mission to Fiji. What a surreal experience. A native from this area took us on a hike up to this little waterfall where we took a dip. Then we hiked up even farther and couldn't take the cameras with us because part of the hike was a swim and they would have gotten wet. We hiked up to the biggest waterfall I've ever seen. It was so loud and powerful that you couldn't even swim up to it. The current would just take you away. It was great excersice, though.

Congratulations to my sweet husband! He's graduated and loving life! We are all loving life! I love being able to spend so much more time with him doing the things that we love doing. Things that, before, had to be put on hold because of homework or tests or class projects. No more, YAHOO!

This was a while ago. I had to take their picture because it was Tayli's first day as a sunbeam and Mason's first full day of church (besides his blessing). Aren't they precious?

Our little fam really loves to do yard work, even our little smiley guy. He had to sport the hood because I didn't want to burn his bald little head.

This was a family night with the Robbins family. Kyr gave us a great lesson on obeying. By the end of the night we had the girls trained to say, "I will obey." Not too bad of a lesson if you ask me :)

This is our latest girls night out. We all had a blast talking all night and catching up on life. The food was good, the cake was darling, but the company was the very best of all. We missed you Heather and we'll miss you Kyr!
